Transparency in freight is not a new idea. These protections have existed in federal regulation for decades. The right to review broker transaction records has existed for decades, but awareness remains limited, and carriers frequently report difficulty obtaining records.
The gap is bigger than awareness. Many carriers who do know their transparency rights hesitate to use them, because they fear retaliation or being quietly blacklisted from future loads. When exercising a legal right can cost you your next paycheck, the right stops working.
A group of drivers and carriers from across the country decided that complaining was not enough. They came together to build something real: structure, coordination, and resources to restore awareness, demand transparency, push enforcement, and hold bad actors accountable.
